Spree Card #8

Next up is this Frank Thomas patch card #16/25 from Panini National Treasures. This is another one that I was surprised to win at auction and for a lot less than I expected. This card makes for one of the best additions to my HoF relic PC. I was always a fan of Frank Thomas in his playing days. He looks even better now as one of the most, if not THE most, prolific power hitters of the 90s-00s that has never been linked with PED use. A lot of people seem to forget that while Thomas is a member of the 500 home run club he also finished his career with a .301 batting average and .419 on-base percentage. In his first 11 season in the majors he hit below .300 only once. As he moved into his mid-30s  age and injuries began to catch up with him. Dude could rake though.
