Every once in awhile I come across a card that make me do a double take.
This Edmundo Sosa prospect base card from 2015 Bowman is one such card.
As many people know, Bowman prospect cards are almost always photoshopped with the player's head attached the someone else's body. Topps has to do this since Bowman products tout prospects in their major league uniforms, which most have never actually worn in a game. This card is obviously one such example of photoshopping. But that isn't what is weird about this card. The photo looks like it was taken at Spring Training. Why is the player standing in mud? And while it was obviously a staged pose, what in the world is he doing? It looks as if he's leading off of third base back towards second. This card is just weird.
Haha, you're right. I'm going to have to pay more attention to those kinds of cards now!
